Von Mitte März bis Juni Bingen neu entdecken - mit besonderen Erlebnissen für Groß & Klein!
Die ersten warmen Sonnenstrahlen ziehen zahlreiche Besucher:innen und Besucher an das Kulturufer. Die Kirschblüte kündigt sich bereits an und verleiht der Stadt eine besondere Atmosphäre. Währenddessen füllen sich die Außenterrassen der Gastronomie. Auch die Eisdielen sind bereit, euch mit süßen Köstlichkeiten zu verwöhnen. Und das Kulturufer und die Innenstadt wird ab 16. Mai wieder zur Kulisse für die Skulpturen-Triennale unter dem Motto: Verbindung und Zusammenhalt.
Highlights im Überblick
Start in die Saison:
"Kunst in Bingen? Aber Hallo!" heißt es am 21. März. Jutta Nelißen lädt zu einem besonderen Rundgang durch Bingen und über das Kulturufer ein. Ein Spaziergang zu Kunst im Öffentlichen Raum.
Am Mittwoch, den 25. März, dreht sich alles um starke Frauen und starke Weine: Luise Lutterbach und Sängerin Nicole Kierdorf gestalten einen Abend voller Geschichten, Musik und Genuss. Dabei stehen im Laufe des Abends die bekannten Persönlichkeiten Hildegard von Bingen, Loreley sowie Germania im Fokus. Begleitet wird der Abend von Wein und Häppchen.
Mittelrheintal erleben: ab Freitag, den 20. März, öffnet das Stellenwerk Mensch | Natur | Technik seine Türen und lädt zu einer spannenden Entdeckungsreise ein. An interaktiven Exponaten erfahren Besucher:innen und Besucher auf anschauliche Weise, wie eng Mensch, Natur und Technik miteinander verbunden sind. Mitten in einer der geschichtsträchtigsten und beeindruckendsten Landschaften Europas, dem Tor zum UNESCO-Welterbe Oberes Mittelrheintal.
Wer das Mittelrheintal lieber vom Wasser aus erleben möchte, kann sich ebenfalls freuen: Die Ausflugsschiffe der Bingen-Rüdesheimer und der Rössler Linie starten am 21. März wieder in die Saison. Die Kölner-Düsseldorfer regelmäßig wieder ab dem 04. April. Auch die Seilbahn in Rüdesheim schwebt ab 21. März wieder über den Reben und bietet herrliche Ausblicke über den Rhein, die Weinberge und Bingen. Mit dem Ringticket könnt ihr Schifffahrt und Seilbahn perfekt kombinieren, um den Frühling willkommen zu heißen.
Osterfreude in Bingen
Auch am Osterwochenende warten tolle Angebote auf euch. An Karfreitag und Ostermontag begebt ihr euch mit Gunda Bunt und ihren Freunden auf die Suche nach Klaus, der Maus. Von Klaus fehlt seit Tagen jede Spur. Gunda Bunt hat einen Plan: Gemeinsam mit euch möchte sie sich auf eine spannende Detektiv-Suche durch Bingen begeben, um ihn zu finden.
Ab Ostersamstag gibt es wieder jeden Samstag, um 10.30 Uhr eine öffentliche Führung "2000 Jahre am Rhein-Nahe-Eck". Darüber hinaus öffnet ab Ostersamstag das Lotsenmuseum wieder für euch und präsentiert spannende Einblicke in das Leben der Lotsen im Mittelrheintal.
Ostersonntag öffnet das Museum am Strom ihre Tore und bietet eine spannende Überblicksführung durch das Museum an. Der Alte Kran lädt ebenfalls immer sonntags zu einem Besuch ein.
Open-Air Festsaison
Ab Mai startet in Bingen endlich wieder die Open-Air-Festsaison. Den traditionellen Auftakt bildet das Sektfest am Muttertagswochenende auf der Burg Klopp. Bei guter Musik, feinen Weinen und einem herrlichen Blick über das Mittelrheintal lässt sich der Frühling besonders genussvoll genießen.
Passend zur Nacht der Verführung heißt es erstmalig: "Kultur und Wein, steig ein!". In dem historischen Postbus geht auf eine genussvolle Reise zwischen Bingen und Ingelheim. Im Mittelpunkt stehen Weinverkostungen in ausgewählten Weingütern, spannende Kurzführungen sowie unterhaltsame Geschichten rund um Wein und Weinbau

The Rochusberg is a beautiful corner for walks with views of Rheinhessen, the Nahe Valley and the Rheingau plus the Rhine. A place of strength on a line with the Donnersberg. Hence the Rochus Chapel, which is definitely worth a visit with its stone carvings as well as the grove around it. In autumn all the colors of the vine leaves from green to yellow and ocher to red...

Nice staff at the tourist information. There is a lot of free information material about Bingen and the surrounding area. Also a free toilet is available, including disabled toilet and baby changing facilities. Here is also the ticket office for events in the city.

One has from the castle Klopp in Bingen on the Rhine, a beautiful view over Bingen, the Rhine shipping and the many vineyards. Rochusberg is a beautiful place, for walking and recharging your batteries. There is ample parking at the Rochuskirche pilgrimage church. A beautiful circular path with references to Hildegard von Bingen lead through the vineyards. The view from the Rochuskirche into the Rhine valley is beautiful.

The park at the Mäuseturm and the beautifully designed Kulturufer are essentially thanks to the successful State Garden Show of 2008. When the weather is nice, countless visitors flock to this place on weekends. It is simply a beautiful destination for young and old with a wonderful view over the Rhine.
