Besides 70 winegrowers, 531 hectares of vineyards, 4 wine-growing regions and a variety of wines that are known far beyond the borders of Germany, Bingen offers you with our wine festivals in the spring the most beautiful way to get to know the people of Bingen and their wines:
The 25th anniversary of the Bingen Sparkling Wine Festival will kick things off from Thursday, May 11 to Saturday, May 13, 2023. Enjoy sparkling wine fun, live music and culinary delights with a view of Klopp Castle and start the Bingen festival season with us.
Just one week later, from Thursday, May 18 to Saturday, May 20, 2023, the Night of Seduction inv ites you to the romantic wine festival on the Rochusberg in Bingen. Let yourself be enchanted by the fantastic view of the Rhine and the Rhine-Hessian sea of vines, dance with us into the night to live bands and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the atmospherically illuminated Wingert.
There is no entrance fee for both wine festivals, but you can buy a souvenir glass for a small fee - as a souvenir for your extraordinarily beautiful weekend in Bingen...

The Rochusberg is a beautiful corner for walks with views of Rheinhessen, the Nahe Valley and the Rheingau plus the Rhine. A place of strength on a line with the Donnersberg. Nice staff at the tourist information. There is a lot of free information material about Bingen and the surrounding area. Also a free toilet is available, including disabled toilet and baby changing facilities. Here is also the ticket office for events in the city.

Rochusberg is a beautiful place, for walking and recharging your batteries. There is ample parking at the Rochuskirche pilgrimage church. A beautiful circular path with references to Hildegard von Bingen lead through the vineyards. The view from the Rochuskirche into the Rhine valley is beautiful.

The park at the Mäuseturm and the beautifully designed Kulturufer are essentially thanks to the successful State Garden Show of 2008. When the weather is nice, countless visitors flock to this place on weekends. It is simply a beautiful destination for young and old with a wonderful view over the Rhine.
